A few thoughts on portraits
Making a lasting impression
Portrait sessions can be done in studio or on location
(outside/ in a cafe/ at your grandma's house / about anywhere!).
For formal images (resume or Linkedin for ex.), I strongly recommend studio sessions as the neutral background and adjustable lighting will make you stand out!
For a more relaxed and personal use, let us ditch the studio and explore settings suiting you best - golden hour is always a hit!
Either way, a good picture is essential to be hireable and make a good first impression (and to get those right swipes ;))!

If you're a company, there's also the possibility to set up a temporary mobile studio in your offices!
Dress to impress!
When choosing your outfit, keep in mind the context in which the photos are going to be used.
As a rule of thumb, avoid bright colors and patterns, and favor neutral tones.
Aim for "business casual"!
And most importantly: get comfortable!
You can also request the assistance of a professional hair and makeup artist, I'll be happy to organise it for you. It truly makes a tremendous difference in the final outcome!
What if i'm not photogenic?
It's okay, it won't hurt much!
I will help you find the right poses and guide you so you'll feel at ease in front of the camera. The most important thing is to remember to breathe (it's not always that obvious!).
I like to believe I'm an emotional sponge, so we'll be in the same boat, having a good time together whilst I work my magic!
And in the end: a recent picture showcases a newer, fresher you!
And after the shoot?
I'll send you a private online gallery where you'll be able to make your selection. The number of final images depends on the package you choose (see below), but additional images can always be requested.
This step gives you the option to pick from a variety of shots (portraits, details, wide, etc.) to best tell your story!
Once your selection is final I'll go ahead, retouch these images and send them to you in high definition within 2-3 weeks.
And if you want to print them, it's possible directly through the gallery - so easy!
